Thank you for your emails and prayers for the past 10 months. Things have been getting very hard lately as I’ve developed post-traumatic stress disorder from the transplant, among other issues I’m facing. Each day is a struggle, but I’m determined to rise above. So many friends and family members going through challenging situations inspire me, and the Lord gives me hope.
Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

The song references The heart that holds on. Feels kind of familiar, doesn’t it? But lately I’ve been thinking how there will be a day, there will be an end to these troubles.
I’m no philosopher or pastor by any means. I’m barely a dreamer. But, as restless and frustrated as I get, I’ve found hope to hold onto. Meager at times, but always there. I know, no matter where this journey ends up, this heart is safe in the hands of Abba, our Father, safe in the hands that hung the moon and put the ocean into place. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.
